Microsurgical End-to-Side Vasoepididymostomy – Part 1

1

Dr. Silber performs microscopic surgery to restore mobile sperm to a gentlemans ejaculate by bypassing an obstruction (blockage) in the epididymis (sperms path). He then uses the favored end-to-side technique to connect the two hollow organs (anastomosis): the epididymal tubule and the vas lumen. The procedure requires fewer cuts and takes less time than other surgeries, thus reducing swelling for a shorter hospital stay.
