The first day of my lmp was 19 July and I started using the First response ovulation predictor sticks since saturday. Monday i got a light line but the directs say that doesnt count but ive been getting a light line everyday so far. We have been having sex everyday once and continuing to test for fertility. just wondering if anyone knows the chances of getting pregnant this cycle.

You have a 20% chance just like anyone else. When you’re testing for ovulation it just tells you when you ovulate. If you weren’t using the strips you could still have sex every day and you’d have the same chances. Good luck!

Be sure to keep testing until you get a dark line equal or darker than the control line. The light line means you have lh in your urine. This is normal since lh plays a role in the maturity of the egg. Once your body detects a high level of estrogen (we get an estrogen surges a few days before an lh surge), it surges lh. Be patient, the eggs still growing. Be sure to have sex on the day of any dark line and the day after. Those are high fertile days.
Young healthy couples have 20-25% (depending on which study you look at) chance of conceiving each month.
