i dont know how much it costs without insurance, but my husband got tested and it cost us about 15 bucks with our insurance

you should really look into getting insurance since youre trying to get pregnant, there are so many doctors appointments and blood tests and ultrasounds during pregnancy, plus the stay in the hospital, i cant even fathom how much that all is without any insurance

I agree with PP you should get insurance before you try getting pregnant. Some insurance companies will not cover a pregnancy if it is before your policy begins and you did not have previous insurance. Also just because we all plan on a healthy pregnancy doesn’t mean it will be. I have had to get monthly ultrasounds starting at week 20 and now at 32 weeks I have to get one every week due to a cyst on my umbilical cord, the baby being very large and producing too much amniotic fluid. Even with my medical insurance my hubby and I have to pay almost $700.00 per ultrasound and seeing the specialist. Having a baby with insurance can still be expensive. I would be scared to do this w/o insurance.

Plus the baby will have lots of doctors visits and immunizations that can also get very expensive.
