do you have to go to your docter to get a blood pregnancy test?

3

so im only 16 so i go to a pediatrician. and i am really worried that i might be pregnant. i don't want to tell my parents until im 100% sure. so could i still get a blood test? and would my parents find out? and about how much would it be? and can they tell alot sooner than a home test? and what kind of home test would be accurate and would show results the fastest?

Blood tests and urine tests will be equally positive if you’re more than a couple days late. I’ve had positive urine (home) tests as early as five days before my missed period.
I would suggest you find a “crisis pregnancy center” (just google it for your area). Many of them are non-religious and they’ll all offer you counseling, birth control, blood tests, ultrasounds, and support.
Good luck!

Finding your local Planned Parenthood is a good way to get a free pregnancy test. They can also direct you to resources such as doctors and counselors (who can also help you figure out how to talk to your parents). Get help sooner than later because if you are pregnant and plan to keep the baby, you will need to start taking care of yourself better right away.

Good luck!
