7

sefertility.com Infertility testing is used to determine why a couple is having trouble conceiving or carrying a pregnancy. AtSoutheastern Fertility Center in Charleston, South Carolina, the first phase of infertility testing generally includes a hysterosalpingogram, also called a HSG or dye test. Using new equipment that causes less discomfort than older infertility testing methods, the doctors place a harmless dye into the uterine cavity and check to see if it flows through the fallopian tubes. This form of infertility testing indicates whether the woman's tubes are open and capable of allowing the sperm and egg to meet. It does hurt. It feels like very bad period cramps. Take a few Advil before you go. I had it down today. It takes about 5 minutes. Good Luck!
