can you have fertility test without being in long-term relationship?
if a single woman wanted to get a womb scan and fertility test to see her chances of holding a baby were, could she do this without having a partner?
if you can scan for problems like cysts in the womb etc, surely they would be able to see if there was anything wrong?

Probably not. Most doctors want you to try actively to conceive for at least a year before they’ll test you for infertility. Do you have reason to believe you aren’t fertile?
Why would you want a scan for cysts? Are you having troubles?
I must say I agree with Chels. Because the tests are expensive and intrusive they perfer to do them on women who are having obvious problems. This means women who have been trying for at least a year or more. However you can ask for you doctor to do a physical on you and see if they can give you a full workup in that way.
Of course you can! I have a good friend who was not in any relationship and she did a full workup including an HSG, a hysteroscopy, FSH test, Antral Follicle Counts…everything!
Many doctors would even recommend testing before you try and get pregnant to prevent any complications!
