Can a Blood Pregnancy Test give wrong negative ?
Me and My husband are trying to conceive 2 month ago, i had sex during my ovulation period which supposed to be between 5 May till 9 May 2008, On the 19th of May i had a Blood pregnancy Test and it gave me Negative,my period ( which is regular )is 3 days late now and i have sore breasts,and period like cramps (everytime i go to the bathroom and i am sure i will find my period as i have cramps )..can the blood test be wrong..and i can be pregnant ?

If you didn’t actually implant until after the 9th then HCG levels might not start to go up in time for a positive on blood test but if there was HCG in your system then yes it would have shown on the test so as of the 19th of May you wouldn’t have been pregnant but you could have just implanted so you may want to go ahead and get a HPT and see if it says negative.
sorry NO. blood tests are never wrong. if it says negative youre not pregnant. the blood test would be able to detect hcg even if it was a 1.
Yes, taking the blood test that early on could result in a false negative. It can take up to 5 days for sperm to actually get to the egg and then 6 or so days to implant. I’ve been told that you should wait to test 19 days after sex to prevent a false negative. You may have only had 10 days between conception and the blood test. The blood tests are only more acurate because it can’t be diluated like urine. Here’s my favorite site to look this stuff up on.

If u are 3days late, blood test shoul be accurate.
If you take a blood test now it will give accurate results. The older one could have been wrong since it was done early on. Good luck!
