How do you get your cat to stop pouncing on your pregnant stomach? Is she playing? or Jealous?

She jumps on the stomach when im not looking or when im asleep then takes off bc she knows ill yell at her. Im afraid shes not going to like the new addition to the family.

IDK? I had an Uncle come to stay with us after being in a motorcycle accident and had his thigh bone replaced with steel and the cat loved to jump on him and he would scream so loud cats ar malicious

She’s not jealous. She has no idea that you have a baby inside of there. Lol.
She’s just playing. She may see the wee one moving around in there. The movement may tantalize her to pounce.
I don’t think you’ll have any problems with your cat after the baby is born. She’ll be curious but I don’t think she’ll get jealous or anything. If anything, she’ll probably want to lay next to the baby and play with him or her.
