40 weeks 5 days pregnant and no signs of labor?
I'm now 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant and I'm showing no signs of labor. I'm not dilated, baby is still high, no loss of mucus plug, etc. Anyone else ever been in this position?

Yes I was showing no signs at 41 1/2 weeks so I got induced…it’s ok…
babies can be 2 weeks over due
I haven’t actually had this happen to me, but my Aunt has with both of her children. She has always had to be induced. My doctor said that I would have had to have been induced with my first pregnancy but my son actually came the next day thank god on his due date. The only reason they wanted to induce me a few days after my due date was because I was having a lot of high blood pressure.
Yes. I am 38 almost 39 weeks,no signs of labor either. I will probably be in the same boat as you by time 40 weeks. I wouldn’t worry. Your baby will come when he’s ready. Could be in the next couple of days, you never know.
Your “due date” is just a guess! You can generally go 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the due date. If your 2 weeks after the doctor will generally induce your labor!
Oh yes. I was 10 days late, put on the induction list, and he came that night on his own. It can all happen in a flash! Don’t worry, your baby will be here soon! If this is your second plus pregnancy, many babies wont drop until labor starts.
Good luck, and stay strong! God knows that 40 week is long enough. Haha.
I had that problem. I was 40 weeks and 6 days when they induced me. I had an excessive amount of fluid though making it difficult for baby to move down. It took two days of potosine to start labor…but when it did start, it went fast.
Being over due is miserable….at least you know it cant be long now, try to hang in there!
